About StunnaCobalt:

Reading manga and watching anime was always my favorite hobby during my free-time. In 2007, I was first introduced to Japanese manga. This was a period when Japanese culture was a marvelous wonder at my grade school. All of my closest friends had copies of either Naruto and Dragonball Z in their backpacks and desks. Everyday I would notice them reading during class and would often discuss about their favorite characters. I was the only kid in my class who didn’t touch/read any graphic novel books because I thought they were weird and complicated to read. It took me months until I convinced myself to read a graphic novel. The first graphic novel I read was Dragonball Z by Akira Toriyama.

After 2009, I wanted to start reading different manga series.

I have been blogging on the WordPress platform since 2008. Believe it or not, the first blogs I owned were Club Penguin related websites. I would always post Club Penguin related information for all of my friends to read. I remember earning over 6,000+ views a day and I loved talking to different online friends about the game! However, as I grew older, I noticed that I didn’t really enjoy blogging about a flash game. So I decided to stop blogging for a while and wanted to start a YouTube gaming channel to keep me entertained on the internet. The gaming channel didn’t really turn out what I expected.

At this point, I really missed blogging. I didn’t want to go back to blog about something I’ve outgrown. I wanted to blog something that I would enjoy to post, so I thought about the creation of my own manga/anime review blog. On July 25, 2013, I decided to open this website for the public.

Other Interests:

  • Aside from reading manga, I love to read classic literature. You can check out my GoodReads page to see what book I’m currently reading.
  • I’m currently pursuing a career in communications.
  • I’m a huge fan of baseball. My favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs and LA Dodgers.
  • I love listening to music. My playlists consist of all sorts of genres, but mostly alternative bands.
